The tomb was built for Liu Zhu and his wife, the sixth prince and princess of the Western Han Dynasty during 128 B.C – 116 B.C. The tomb covers an area of 700 square meters and is comprised of fifteen tomb chambers.
The principal design of the tomb followed a pattern of structures of a living home including kitchens, bedrooms, living room, corridors, halls and more.
Located in the west of the Guishan Hill, this ancient Han tomb is well-known with its delicate architectures and is a lovely place in the city for visitors. This Han tomb has been commented as one of the most important Hundred Chinese Archaeological Findings in the 20th century. |
